Mel Zalman
My name is Mel (it's short for Melinda). I am a graduate of Dallas Baptist University. I have a BA in Psychology and MA in Professional Counseling. I currently live in Stinnett, TX with my husband, JJ, and our fur babies, Beau and Goose. We welcomed our first child in August of ‘21 and she’s the light of our lives. I work as a counselor at Amarillo Family Institute in Amarillo, TX. We are both from Amarillo and found our way back to the panhandle after spending several years in Dallas. I enjoy reading, writing, eating, and worshiping, talking about, and being in the presence of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I want to be real, open, and honest. Authenticity, vulnerability, and loyalty are very important to me.
